We have excellent news about this year's Vets League for London Heathside. Both Men's and Women's Teams have paid their subs and been acknowledged by the League administrator.
Further news is, I am to be the Team Manager for both Men's and Women's Teams. Still you can't have everything.
The matches this year will be on
- Monday 22nd May at Lee Valley N9 0AR (Enfield & Haringey/Ilford)
- Monday 26th June at Stevenage SG2 9PB (hosts Stevenage/Herts Phoenix)
- Monday 17 th July at Lee Valley N9 0AR (hosts Barnet & D)
- Monday 14 th August at Harrow HA3 6SW (hosts Harrow)
The first event in each match begins at 6:30pm, so it's nice for someone to be there at 6.
Because an evening event is quite short, and there are a lot of age groups from 35through 40, 50 and 60 up to 70, not all age groups get to compete in each event. More detail on this to follow.

In the first match in the field we have
- Hammer for men (35, 60, 70)
- Shot for Men (35 and 50)
- Shot for Women (35 and 50)
- Discus for Women (60, 70)
- Long Jump for Women (35 and 50)
and on the track
- All the age groups get a 100m race
- All the age groups get a 1500m race
- Only the youngsters (35, 40, 50) get a 400m race
- There is a single 4 x 100m race each for men and women
- And a 2000m walk for 35 and 50.
